Basket Weaving with Lisa Dear

In this one day course we will cover how to weave a willow gathering basket using some of the traditional techniques used in the style of frame basketry.

Starting with two hoops we will join them securely, weaving back and forth adding the ribs as we go.Participants will gain an understanding of the material qualities of willow and how to construct their own basket suitable for a variety of uses.

Please note a good level of manual dexterity is required for this day.
