    Paints

Bring your usual colours along with titanium white and ivory black. As a guide, most of my paintings are created from: cadmium yellow light, yellow ochre, cadmium orange, cadmium red, alizarin crimson, perylene violet, dioxazine purple, ultramarine, phthalo blue r/s, cerulean blue, phthalo green b/s, phthalo green y/s, titanium white, and ivory black.

    Brushes

I use a range of various sizes of synthetic flat brushes from ¼in to 2in wide.

    Painting Surface

Use any of the following surfaces: Winsor Newton or any brand-named acrylic paper or pre-gessoed hot pressed watercolour paper. I would recommend a surface no bigger than 38 x 28cm unless you are confident in applying large areas of paint.
